Music has been part of my life since 1986. Over the decades, I’ve written, recorded, and collaborated with a variety of musicians, but I never really followed the traditional path of settling into one long-term band. Instead, the songs accumulated - different styles, different eras, different people, and different versions of myself captured along the way.
In January 2026, an unexpected medical diagnosis changed the way I looked at all of it. Forty years of recordings suddenly felt less like unfinished business and more like something worth preserving.
I began going back through the archive: finding old songs, revisiting abandoned recordings, refining arrangements, finishing tracks that deserved another chance, and remastering the best of what I had created since the mid-1980s. Some of the music is more recent. Some of it began decades ago. Together, it tells a story I never realized I was building.
The goal now isn’t fame, a record deal, or chasing whatever happens to be current. It’s much simpler than that. I want the music to exist outside of my hard drives and old boxes of recordings. I want it available online, pressed onto physical media, and left behind for the friends and family who have been part of my life.
These records are the result of forty years of making music because I wanted to make music.
Consider them the archive, the catalog, and, in the best sense of the word, the legacy.
